The JJJ promise.
Episode 5.

On the way home, neither of them could say anything. Samuel's eyes were on the road, but his mind was on the JJJ promise. Triplets! Who would have guessed? Of course the possibilities were there but he hadn't seen it coming at all. Joshua, Jeremiah, Jemima were actually triplets! What else was God planning?
Blessing stared out the window, the tears had stopped falling but a silver pool lingered in her eyes. Her? Of all the women in the world! God was choosing her to house triplets? And she remembered when God gave her the JJJ promise, He had added it was no ordinary promise. What more was God planning?

Life fast forwarded to eight and a half months later. Blessing was laid on the hospital bed, her legs in a V and a very potruding tummy above her.

'Okay, Mrs Desola,' the doctor said. 'The contractions will be more rapid now and in quicker succession. We're envisaging a long delivery considering the type of pregnancy. Would you like an epidural?"
'What's an...' she was about to add 'epidural'  when she felt the sharpest pain she had ever felt from between her legs. She screamed.

'And the process has started.' the doctor quipped. 'Mrs. Delosa I'm going to need you to push at the count of three.'

Blessing couldn't believe it, but the pain was mind-blowing. After seven pushes she was drained with sweat and all her strength had left her.
The doctor and the nurses stayed at the foot of the bed, monitoring the situation of things. 'Mrs Delosa you can't give up now. You have three babies to deliver and the first one isn't even out yet. Push!'
Blessing's face contorted as she mustered all the strength she could and pushed. Soon, the cry of a baby split the air.
'Good!' The doctor smiled. 'One out, two to go.'

But she couldn't get past the pain. It shook her whole body and threatened to tear her in two. At a point, she stopped hearing what the doctor and the nurses were saying, she just wanted everything to be over.

'Help me, Jesus! This is torture!" She didn't know when that escaped her mouth but she heard the doctor laugh. "You're doing great, Mrs Delosa. Just keep pushing."

And like that, she brought forth the remaining two. It turned out, when she felt completely drained and couldn't go on, she felt a new release of strength to push more. Samuel must have been praying for her in the waiting room.

Thirty minutes later, it was tears galore in their hospital room. The three tiny beigns, pink and squirming in their parents' hands weren't the only one crying. Tears streamed down Blessing's face, Samuel was smiling like there was no tomorrow and the doctor didn't know wether to laugh at their expressions or to keep her own tears in check. How Blessing wished that time would freeze the moment so they could enjoy it as much as they wanted.
But time waits for no man and a couple of hours later, the Delosa's took their bundles of joy amidst excitement and amazement at the goodness of God.
But once again, the Delosa's had forgotten that the God who gave them the JJJ promise was also called Jehovah Overdo. He had not just given them kids, he had given them special ministries.

And Samuel had a night vision where he saw three strikingly identical triplets on a huge stage and a teeming crowd below them. Two were boys and they flanked the girl on either side whilst holding guitars. The girl had her lips to a microphone and her eyes were closed. And as was usual for him, a scripture came with it: "Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion."

He got up and wrote down his vision. Minutes later, as he stretched his back out on the bed, he looked at where the triplets' cots stood beside one another.

He realized that what they had thought to be the end of the JJJ promise was only just the beginning. He sang praises to God as his eyes closed again and sleep soon came for him.
