THEY DON'T NEED SANTA CLAUS 2
Episode 2
"Tracts."
"Oh!" Emmanuel replied, shaking his head. "How could we have forgotten that?"
Michael smiled and nodded at Grace. "Thank you for reminding us Grace. We'll get going."
When the guys had gone, and they had the food cooking steadily in the kitchen, Shade and Grace relaxed in the sitting room
"So you and Michael..." Shade started, with a mischievous grin on her face.
Grace grinned. "What happened to me and Michael?"
"Do you think he knows yet?"
"Knows what?"
"That you know he's the one?"
"Shade!" Grace exclaimed, wide eyed. She put a finger to her lips. "Shhhh. You don't know if he has a recording machine somewhere around."
Shade hissed. "Really? Who puts a recording machine in their own home?"
"I don't know if he knows actually. But I'm in no rush. I'm just going to hold on to what God has told me. Whenever he's ready..." She shrugged.
"Eh eh!" Shade clapped her hands. "I like this your love story o. So when he asks, you're going to say yes. No need to say "I'll pray about it.?"
"What's the point of saying that when I'm hundred percent sure?"
"True sha..."
"If he proposed today, that would be the perfect Christmas gift for you, shey?"
Grace smiled. "Maybe. But let see what God has in mind. Anyway, we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For now, let's focus on the task at hand : The souls we're going to reach out to"
"And the food we're cooking." Grace added, remembering that over thirty minutes had passed and they had not checked on the food.
They jumped from their seats and stumbled into the kitchen to check on their food. The rice was already drying up.
The guys arrived two hours, thirty minutes later with their hands filled with plastic bags and provisions. Immediately, everyone started to offload the gifts and start sorting them. Grace and shade wrapped the gifts for women and children, while the guys wrapped for the men and boys.
"Remember, there has to be a Bible and a tract in every package guys." Emmanuel reminded his friends as he tied a green ribbon."
"And lots of prayers." Michael added. "Ask God to breathe on these gifts as we wrap them. Speak to them. Whoever receives any of these packages must be struck by the power of God. Don't forget that these guys we're going to meet don't need santa claus for Christmas. They need to know the reason for the season. If they're sinners, they have to be saved. If they've gone astray due to whatever lie the devil has whispered to them, they must come back before the new year. If they are sick or grieving, they must find comfort in what God has entrusted into our hands to give to them."
Forty minutes later, all the gifts were wrapped and lay in a pile in front of the sitting room. They formed a circle round it, held hands and began to commit themselves into the hands of God to be used to restore hope to the hopeless, happiness to the grieving, love to the those who were feeling unloved, salvation to those who needed it, restoration for the lost...
As they prayed, they became more desperate to just launch out and spread the love that bonded them. The love that came from One whose birth was the reason for the season.
Part 3 coming...but Merry Christmas to you all put there. God loves you so so much. If you're doubting that, reach out to me via the medium you came here.❤️
