Once upon a time, there was a small community of villagers living in a village surrounded by rocky mountains. All around them were stones and rocks and gravel and sand. But they were all very used to them. They knew how to work, feed, play and navigate their rocky abode. And they rather enjoyed it. They loved the security the rocks gave them. The way they enclosed them round about, made enemy nations think twice before they attacked. These mountains had stayed for ages, long before everyone of them was born, so they had extreme confidence that nothing was ever going to happen to them. As long as they were concerned, they could carry on with their lives, hunting mountain goats and building rocky castles. They never ever thought that anything could happen to the rocky abode that they had come to love so much.
But a day came and a group of geographers visited their village. They were received cheerfully, at first and even offered a place to stay for as long as they wanted. The geographers obliged them and stayed for a month. During that month, they began to notice a catastrophe waiting to happen. One of the biggest mountains behind the village had a gigantic rock that was gradually giving way. The rock was so large that the geographers worried it would wipe out the whole village in one smash if they didn't relocate.
They brought their observation to the chiefs of the village. "Pshawww!" The chiefs laughed at them. "That mountain has been there for as long as we remember. The stone has always been like that. People used to tell us it will soon fall, but look at us after so many years of existence. The stone has not fallen."
The geographers looked at each other warily. They knew what they were saying about that humungous rock that was about to fall. And they were in the best position to know because they were geographers. But the chiefs did not listen to them...
Finally, they agreed to tell the villagers themselves about the impending doom. They went round the village every day, shouting, "Relocate! The rock is about to fall!" But the people laughed them to scorn. "How can we leave the home that we have lived in for so many years?" They rudely replied.
"Please relocate to another city! A huge rock is about to fall on you all!" The geographers shouted night and day.
The villagers got angry and started mocking them. "Get out of our village, you idiots! You know nothing about our village. Many have told us that rock will fall one day, but it has never fallen. Get out of our village!" They shouted, throwing little rocks at the geographers.
Wounded and sad, the geographers decided to try one more time, "Please, relocate to another city! Come with us to our city. The rock is about to fall!" They cried over and over again that night.
The villagers shouted at them and eventually chased them out of their village angrily.
But the gigantic rock was really giving way. It was slipping gradually from off the mountain and was looming over the little village, precariously. But the villagers were not looking up. They were not watching and discerning the times. They had ignored the geographers that had warned them about the rock and they continued living their lives on the ground, completely unaware of the catastrophe that was waiting to happen.
One night, there was a rumbling and a shaking. Little rocks rolled down the mountains and the foundations of their houses shook. Most of them were asleep, but the ones that were awake wondered what was happening. They then remembered the words of the geographers, "Relocate to another city. The rock is about to fall!"
They scrambled to wake their people up and pack their things to leave, but alas, time was not on their side. The humongous rock rolled down with such force and speed that the whole village was wiped out and crushed to smithereens. The damage was nauseating and grotesque as casualties lay dead or half dead. Their village became a pool of blood. Boys, girls, women, men, babies, everyone lay destroyed on the ground with their gore splashed around them.
"Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?" Luke 12:56
The things that are happening in the world today are all part of a grand design. Things are falling in place and are setting the stage for destruction and woe upon this Earth. Hear the voice of the one crying in the wilderness and flee for your life! Repent! Give your life to Christ and make your way right with God. The mere fact that the Rapture has not taken place and that people have been shouting it since before you were even born, does not mean that it is not going to happen. It will happen!
You can tell when rain is about to fall, but can you not tell when destruction is going to come on this Earth. Why don't you give your life to Jesus today and escape with the true believers in the Rapture before the rocks start to fall...
